IEES Reunion 2019 – Invitation

Dear friends and members of IEES,

The 2019 Reunion of the International Ecological Engineering Society will be held at the Zurich University of Applied Science in Waedenswil, Switzerland, on Sep. 12 + 13, 2019. We cordially invite you to participate in this interesting event.

With this year’s reunion we aim to establish a core group of interested people who want to participate in the further development of ecological engineering. We also want to set the ground for our next big step: the IEES symposium 2020.

On the first day (Sep. 12, 2019), we will focus on planning a holistic engineering design workshop (working title «The Task») for the 2020 IEES symposium. We will also test a zero-waste-conference-concept developed by students which will be implemented  at the 2020 symposium and hold the official IEES reunion.

On the second day (Sep. 13, 2019), in two parallel groups we will focus on the IEES mission statement and on how to teach ecological engineering. We will discuss and shape the future mission of IEES and continue shaping an international Ecological Engineering curriculum

More information and information how to register see below. We are looking forward to seeing you soon

Kind regards from Waedenswil
